Indorama's New Solution for More Sustainable Denim

Indorama Ventures PLC (Thailand) is launching CoolVisions + Cotton denim, the newest addition to its sustainable portfolio.

The addition of CoolVisions polypropyelene to cotton denim reduces water useage, indigo dye and chemicals by 45 percent, according to Indorama.

These innovative denim fabrics are softer, lighter and dry faster than traditional denim fabrics.

"Polypropylene has one of the lowest cradle-to-factory gate  carbon footprints amongst synthetic fibers and ranks high on the Higg Index. It's also OEKO-TEX certified," said Susan Lynn, Global Sales and Marketing Manager.

Indorama will be introducing CoolVisions at the upcoming Outdoor Retailer show later this month.
